How I started Snowboarding and When?:
Back in 1991 I asked Iris, my classmate and best friend in school who was a 13 year old snowboard instructor to show me how it’s done. We skipped school and took the bus to a resort called Dürnberg located in Hallein (Salzburg). At the end of the day I was linking turns and singing along. I was hooked from that day on, bought a board (Burton M5), and have had the course of my life largely determined by decisions made for riding.
Working my way back from serious injuries prior to any snowboard success – just for the love of riding – not for the money and not for the fame- cause I knew neither Called Squaw Valley my home resort for 5 years, Bachelor Degree in International Relations at UNR All 4 5’s. Best friend’s part of the all girls movie “Transfer” in 2005 Getting my physical therapy degree in Innsbruck in 2009
Combining being a mom and a shredder – staying true to my passion Living my dream, keeping the challenge alive, riding for ridings’ sake.
