How I started Snowboarding and When?:
Back in 1991 I asked Iris, my classmate and best friend in school who was a 13 year old snowboard instructor to show me how it’s done. We skipped school and took the bus to a resort called Dürnberg located in Hallein (Salzburg). At the end of the day I was linking turns and singing along. I was hooked from that day on, bought a board (Burton M5), and have had the course of my life largely determined by decisions made for riding.
